Combining the mythology and regional folklore of their native Siberia, Grima are an atmospheric black metal band from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Helmed by twin brothers Morbius and Vilhelm, they first launched as a studio project in the mid-2010s, forging a sound rooted in the Siberian wilderness and incorporating folk instrumentation into their ominous, dark-hued songs. For the first part of their career, Grima was a staple of Germany's Naturmacht label, releasing acclaimed albums like 2019's Will of the Primordial and 2022's Rotten Garden. After signing with Napalm, they expanded into a quartet and began playing live ahead of their sixth album, 2025's Nightside.
