Chi è Haquin
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember from a very young age, sitting at our family's old piano, holding down the sustain pedal and picking out notes that sounded pleasing to me and letting them ring out, in awe of the beautiful sounds I & the piano were creating.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Phoebe Bridgers, Lost Weekend
'Lost Weekend', to me is an absolute masterpiece of production and song writing and sits perfectly on the line between experimental music and the indie folk pop realm. There is so much depth to the sonic landscapes that have been created here.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“No Show”
I started writing this at christmas in the livivng room with my brother, so it brings back warm memories. It also marks the beginning of my journey into lyrical songwriting after years of writing predominantly instrumental music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Being able to quit my day job and be a full time musician!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I've been dreaming lately and planning for building my own recording studio as my current set up is a little limiting and in my bedroom...
