In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
For the first 13 years of my life, my parents had really pushed me and my sister to practice the piano more. They enrolled us in weekly lessons, which I remember hating. I only started liking piano when I began teaching myself songs I really liked.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Billy Joel, The Stranger (Remastered)
Fun., Aim and Ignite (Deluxe Version)
The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered)
These 3 piano-heavy rock albums were essential in shaping the type of music I knew I wanted to make. Aim and Ignite featured the type of indie sound I had always resonated with, and The Stranger's piano tunes were stepping stones to my first album.

“Pointing To Polaris”
I feel like Pointing to Polaris captures the nostalgia of young love and its short shelf life. The simple melodies are proof to me that art can't be forced, and is only a symptom of emotion. It's probably one of my favorite songs I've ever written.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
At an Elton John + Billy Joel tribute concert, my mom secretly told the performers that my newly released album was very Joel and Elton inspired. Imagine my surprise when, on a first date with my then-girlfriend, they gave my a shoutout and promo.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
One thing on my bucket list is to meet fabulous people through my music. So far, everything I've done was independent work, and I never got to collaborate with any people or meet anyone new through my music. I want to experience that at some point.
