In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to classic rock and classical music, but I was gifted my first CD from a classmate - Brother Noland, and his music obviously influenced me. Growing up on the Big Island and then living on O'ahu is also reflected in my lyrics.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 3 Doors Down, The Better Life Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered) Red Hot Chili Peppers, Californication (Remastered) When I was a teenager and young adult, their lyrics and musical styles appealed to me so much that I often had their albums on repeat. I couldn't find Hawaiian Style Band, probably because they were compilations, but yeah... loved that music too.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take Me To Jesus” This song is where I'm at now. A lot of the non-faith music is older stuff that has been taking up room in my head for decades that I was just glad to finally get out. This song, on the other hand, is my present and my future.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Someone bought one of my songs on iTunes Music... "Who Go Beach?" which was fun to write and produce, but seriously - Why that one? Lol.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes. Oh wait, you want more of an answer? Well, first I need to finish getting the rest of the songs in my head out of my head. Just need to declutter the head space first. Then, maybe explore different sounds.
