Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is hearing CCR for the first time... I was young... but I could tell they sounded different than other bands... it didn't take long for me to recognize that there was so much diversity on the radio... in 1970.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jay Rin, Fool on the Fringe Best album of 2024. Rich and invigorating song-craft with 12 engaging performances that keep me coming back for more. Jay Rin's voice is magnetic and soulful and evocative of Janis Joplin, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt.... And the songs are magnificent

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are many... a recent standing ovation in a marketplace... performing at the Wiltern Theater... recording with my daughter Jay Rin... seeing and hearing people react to the original stuff when it's mixed with cover tunes... it's a continuum...
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The next album... bigger stages... playing Coachella.... going on a national tour... even as an opening solo act.... looking back on my work and, even if the audience is small... feeling satisfied that I put some pretty decent songs into the world.
