Chi è JOA
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Going to a Rihanna concert in Oslo at age 9, as a birthday gift. Unapologetic was the first album I ever found on my own. I'll never forget her singing 'Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary,' the feeling I had then is why I make music today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition
Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour
Taylor Swift, folklore
My three favorite albums on Apple Music are: Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, folklore by Taylor Swift, and Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves.

“A Little Kinder”
'A Little Kinder' has grown on me since release. I wrote it hoping to be less self-critical and more present. I didn't rate it highly at first, but seeing what it's meant to others taught me the value of being honest and vulnerable in lyrics.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable career moments: playing a festival in Svolvær, northern Norway. Despite pouring rain, the audience was magical, singing along to every song while I felt completely present on stage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I really want to tour the world, experiencing new cities and playing for audiences everywhere, sharing musical moments together. I'd especially love to play concerts in Germany, but also in Japan.
