In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was about five years old, playing about with an electronic wind organ we had. I found that I could play notes on the keyboard that matched the sound of the buttons you pressed for backing chords. I felt like I had unlocked something mysterious.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Indigo Girls, Swamp Ophelia
Kate Bush, Hounds of Love (2018 Remaster)
Lou Reed, New York (Deluxe Edition)
Hounds Of Love is the most perfectly crafted album of powerful, yet delicate songs. Lou Reed's lyrical storytelling is some of the finest poetry ever set to music. The Indigo Girls always speak directly to my heart.

“Oh What a Day!”
This is about enjoying the simple things in life. The music is also deceptively simple, but complex dissonances are found beneath the surface. The lyrics too have a popcorn simplicity to them, but they weave in profound wisdom and Tennyson's poetry!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I walked away from a successful career in banking in 2024. This allowed me to focus on making music - turning a lifelong passion into a serious pursuit. This year, pulling together my first album, has been an amazing time of learning and growth.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Releasing my first album in January 2026 will be a key milestone for me. Then, with the confidence of knowing I can do this behind me, following up with the 'difficult' second album!
