In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom and I used to sing melodies together in the car on the way home after she picked me up from school. It was so much fun—and little did I know, she was actually teaching me a technique I still use today when writing songs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kirk Franklin & The Family, Kirk Franklin and the Family (Live) The Winans, The Winans: The Definitive Original Greatest Hits Tonéx, Out the Box I love the vocal ability that Tonex brought to the entire project, It was like something I’d never heard before and the production was next level. I would say it’s a classic album.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was to headline my own tour. It was something I always wanted to do, I was so grateful that we nearly sold out every city.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to see a few of my records reach gold or platinum status one day. I know it takes relentless hard work and dedication—but I’m fully committed to doing whatever it takes to make that dream a reality.
