Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was playing the drums as a baby on a baby drum kit in my parents' apartment.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Future, DS2 Parliament, Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome Wings, Back to the Egg (1993 Remaster) I love these albums because they represent different perspectives of psychedelia that shape my vibe.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Pen” My Pen, from the Lowtide project is one of my favorite songs because it has my favorite lyric, “my only weapon is my pen” … truth … all hail Sly Stone.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with George Clinton and meeting Quincy Jones at my show are my most memorable moments so far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is long and I feel like I'm only getting started. There is still so much to do!
