In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It would probably the first song I have ever written. I remember making up a little melody and silly lyrics when I was little sitting at the piano. And I remember my parents seemed really impressed!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Dangerously in Love Jill Scott, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds, Vol. 1 Justin Timberlake, Justified I love the Neo-soul genre and the combination of soulful melodies, harmonies, hip-hop beats and groovy baselines. Dangerously In Love signifies a time in my life. And Señorita is still one of my favourite songs of all time.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Family Tree” It is a ballad which I wrote about my wonderful Grandma when she was still alive. I co-wrote it with an incredible guitarist/ musician Werner Kristiensen. This song was played on National Grandparents Day on Radio 2 two years in a row.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at The Electric Soul Festival at the 02 Arena, London in 2019 which was the biggest stage I have ever played on. It was so surreal playing there and I was so nervous, but I was very happy with how it went.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of my biggest goals is to perform on the Jools Holland Show... and open for Beyonce!
