Inspired by the likes of Prokofiev, Ravel, and Debussy, Ludovic Bource is a French composer/arranger famous for his successful musical relationship with critically acclaimed director Michel Hazanavicius. After starting his career scoring various commercials, he moved onto creating soundtracks for short films and producing albums for the likes of French hip-hop trio Svinkels (Bois Mes Paroles), folk-pop chanteuse Little (Rose Bonbon), and Gallic rock vocalist Alain Bashung (L'Imprudence), before re-teaming with Hazanavicius (whom he'd also previously collaborated with on 1999's Mes Amis). The pair achieved their biggest hit with 2011's Palme d'Or nominated The Artist, a black-and-white comedy based on a 1920s film star's relationship with an extra.
