Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing as a second grader in a church musical. I remember some of the lyrics to this day. I somehow remember the rehearsals and even performing, looking out and seeing my family and friends, as I had a lead in the show.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glen Hansard, Rhythm and Repose (Deluxe Edition) Taylor Swift, reputation Willie Nelson, Across the Borderline These are 3 very different albums by 3 very different artists, but they all capture aspects of my personality and soul. And in their own way, they have each helped me through some of life's most difficult challenges.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Your Day Will Come” Written by my friend, Brett James, this song is an anthem of hope for those who keep holding on to the dream. It's a song that stirs my soul.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every time someone comes up to me after I perform and they tell me how one of the songs that I sang impacted them. It's amazing how some songs reach people in ways that I could have never imagined.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Are you kidding? I'm just getting started. No, seriously. The Ryman. Red Rocks. Tour in Europe. It's a big bucket.
