In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandfather moved 3 minutes away from my family when I was 9 and started to teach me trumpet. I'd come home after school and he would come over and just have me improvise over the blues and play what I felt.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blonde Redhead, Misery Is a Butterfly Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Season of Changes Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bird and Diz Expanded Edition These are just a few of my favorite albums that changed my life at different points. The songs on these records are so beautiful that they really make time slow down and almost stop for me.
