Since their 1999 debut, Mayday have established themselves as a mainstay of Mandarin rock. The Taiwanese five-piece started off as an indie group, setting themselves apart with lead vocalist Ashin’s textured, high-voltage vocals and energetic, emotive songs that feature relatable slice-of-life perspectives.
