Catriel Guerrero is a singer, rapper, songwriter, and guitarist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. A member of several rock bands during his adolescence, around the mid-2010s he decided instead to turn to hip-hop, adopting the Ca7riel moniker and self-releasing the album xCVE7Ex. The budding rapper soon began to make strides in the nascent scene of Argentine trap with a succession of singles, many of these collaborations with his friend Paco Amoroso. As he developed as an artist, Ca7riel gradually incorporated elements from genres such as rock, metal, and electronica into his sound, creating a more idiosyncratic style. Notably, his acclaimed sophomore effort El Disko (2022). Baño María, the first Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso full-length, appeared in 2024. The album achieved significant international exposure. Capitalizing on its success, the eccentric duo returned in May 2025 with the Papota EP.
