Los Angeles native Neriah has a knack for spinning heartbreak into confessional, ear-catching pop songs. Early songs like "Loner" and "2008" fused piano balladry with light electronic flourishes, though she later broke out with a more expansive pop sound on 2022's viral hit "Lego Blocks" and "Unfinished Business," the latter from her second EP, How Do I Get Clean?. She continued to channel her emotions into the intimate alt-pop of 2023's No One Cries Forever EP and her debut LP Cause of Death, before moving into breezier territory on tracks like 2024's "Driving Weather" and "Red Flag." In 2025, she released the EP Reason To Hate You.
