At the dawn of the summer of 2024, Tommy Richman was one of the hottest new commodities in pop music. This was thanks to the Virginia-born Gen Z singer’s viral single “MILLION DOLLAR BABY,” which effortlessly combined influences from G-funk, neo-soul, chopped-and-screwed H-Town rap, and state-of-the-art Trap&B into a dangerously infectious hit. However, Richman was no newcomer to the industry by this point.
