Comprised of Max Newbold (vocals/guitar), India Armstrong (bass), Jake Bishop (drums), and Elliot Rawlings (guitar), indie four-piece Overpass was born in Birmingham in the early stages of 2020. Taking their name from their home city’s sprawling motorway junction, Spaghetti Junction, the group debuted that November with the plucky indie “One Night Lover,” before beginning an upbeat run of singles through the 2020s. After issuing EPs From the Night and Dependent, the group made their long-form debut with the 2026 album Elsewhere, Always.
