Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is when I sang for the San Francisco Boys Chorus. We would carpool with a friend whose older brother used to steer the car with his legs (scary)! It was generally a fun experience, including the performances.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Star, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Future, Honest (Deluxe) I remember listening to Black Star a lot in my early teens. I thought their lyrics were important to understanding how we live in this society. Honest and Nothing Was the Same showed me how hip-hop could be expanded musically and socially.

Tell us why you chose this song. “I'm Rare (Squeaky Clean Mix+)” This song has it going on with double-tracked vocals, a great bass line, an interesting flute solo and an inspiring chord sequence at the end. I love it. I just with I made it longer!!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was when I performed at the SXSW music festival in 2013.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a large number of recorded songs that I need to remaster!
