Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom and dad are on the sofa in the living room. The reel-to-reel is playing Air by JS Bach. I am maybe three years old, and the music engulfs me. It is eternal somehow, and I get up on the sofa as well. It's a moment of peace and belonging.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Peter Gabriel, Peter Gabriel 3: Melt (Remastered) The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) The Police, Synchronicity (Remastered 2003) Three very different albums from acts that were all at the top of their game. Lyrically and musically challenging but also catchy and melodic. I couldn't find Regatta de Blanc by the Police (the first album I bought). Of course, great vocals as well.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You Plus One” It was the first song we wrote together, me and Mark, and it just hit that bittersweet existential spot. The endless chasing for the next buzz, dopamine hit, whatever. Happiness is just around the corner. I wanted to capture that feeling.
