Chi è Phunk Zone
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I started DJing in the 70's at elementary schools.
My favorite music was and still is funk.
Its where my soul is when I play and create.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Funkadelic, One Nation Under a Groove (Remastered Edition) Bonus Tracks
Parliament, Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome
The Sugarhill Gang, Rapper's Delight: The Best of the Sugarhill Gang
P-Funk music is what made me want to make my own music.
George Clinton and Bootsy Collins took me where I needed to go to find the Phunk.
THE Sugarhill Gang inspired me to rap like any other MC out here just by being myself.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“2 Phunked Up”
This song feels how I feel most of the time when I make music.
I did this with my music partner DeiMajah during covid right after losing Mom.
This is all me.
