Singer/keyboardist/composer Liam Hayes is the driving force behind Plush. Hayes first gained attention accompanying Will Oldham's Palace Songs, but with Plush he found a vehicle to express his love of the classic orchestral pop sounds of the 1960s. Plush released its first single in 1994, but it wasn't until '98 that their debut album, MORE YOU BECOMES YOU, finally saw the light of the day. Thankfully for Hayes' small-but-hardy coterie of admirers, subsequent releases appeared at a more consistent clip.
