Described by guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei as "a cross between Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Cypress Hill," rap-metal supergroup Powerflo combine aggressive riffs, socially conscious lyrics, and propulsive beats to deliver a potent hybrid sound that resonates with fans of both genres. Powerflo issued the single "Resistance" in early 2017, a precursor to their self-titled debut album, which arrived later that year. Bandmembers tended to other projects before reassembling in 2024 for the LP Gorilla Warfare.
