Premonition 13 are yet another band led by doom metal lifer Scott "Wino" Weinrich, whose lengthy career as both bandmember and guiding force behind such legendary outfits as the Obsessed, Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, the Hidden Hand, and Shrinebuilder (among others) has already been extensively chronicled elsewhere. Assembled in 2010 by Wino, guitarist Jim Karow, and drummer Matthew Clark, Premonition 13 are a jam-based, psychedelic doom outfit not dissimilar to Spirit Caravan, and concluded the recording of their eponymous debut EP and an album entitled simply 13 the following year, releasing both through Volcom Entertainment. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
