New York-based electronic duo VAVO are known for their upbeat and hooky progressive house and electro sound. Emerging in 2016, they gained wider attention with 2018's "Right Now" featuring Caroline Kole.
Formed in 2015, VAVO features producers Jesse Fischer and Alden Martin. The pair originally connected after Martin heard Fischer's previous outfit, Flight School, and invited him to work on new music. Discovering their shared chemistry, they decided to move forward as a duo, releasing well-received tracks like "Feel Good" and "Bromance" with Steve Reece. Soon they had amassed a sizable online following. More tracks followed, including collaborations with Alaris, Otto Orlandi, and others. In 2017, they delivered a remix of Tony Igy's "Astronomia." A year later they landed at number 32 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart with "Right Now," featuring singer Caroline Kole. The duo then joined ZHIKO for 2019's "Anything for You" and 2020's "Day N' Night." ~ Matt Collar
