Raisa Andriana’s honeyed contralto became a seemingly overnight sensation when she arrived on the Indonesian mainstream in the 2010s. Backed by a slew of acoustic-based, jazz-tinged earworms, the singer-songwriter specialises in tales of love lost and heartbreak, solidified by her sophomore release. The aptly titled Heart To Heart (2013), features heart-rending singles such as “Pemeran Utama” and “Mantan Terindah”. Known for her penchant for collaborations, Raisa has recorded top-selling duets with fellow pop sensations Afgan (“Percayalah”) and Isyana Sarasvati (“Anganku Anganmu”).
