What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, Hejira Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Tyler, The Creator, IGOR IGOR is the type of storytelling on an album that I strive for. The lyrics, production and flows are amazing Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is a classic and the synths sounds are so influential on me I could've picked 5 Joni albums tbh, Hejira is classic
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Aquarium” This is the first song where I really combined my jazz education with hip-hop and indie pop. Time signature changes, jazz chords, harmonies, etc. I think this is my most interesting track so far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing a tiny desk concert for npr in Washington, DC. That would be sick.
