Their candid tales of lost love have grown more expansive—and especially urgent—with each release, including their 2020 EP Songs to Break Up To, a low-key, synth-touched collection that documents Yassein’s heartache. That theme has since persisted, with singles like “Love Gone Wrong,” a cinematic tearjerker that slowly, softly soars. It’s a song that sums up Wild Rivers’ MO: to transform gut-wrenching experiences into soul-stirring anthems.
