Salt Cathedral is the indie duo of Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada, two Colombian musicians who are based in Brooklyn, New York. Their unique music fuses tropical electropop elements with a range of styles like Latin, jazz, folk, and dancehall. A series of EPs and a 2017 dub project featuring Lee "Scratch" Perry led up to the release of their debut album, Carisma, in 2020. After a four-year gap, Salt Cathedral returned with 2024's Before It's Gone, a genre-traversing semi-concept album exploring themes of existence in the modern world.
