Chi è Save Oz
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I recall listening to early songs of The Beatles in my father's car as a kid and being so drawn to the melodies and the way I could hear each of their personalities through the music. It made me want to be a musician.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
John Lennon, Imagine
Weezer, Weezer
Wilco, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
These three are albums that I can listen to from start to finish and it brings back emotions and feelings of listening to them when I was younger. They still hold up as some of my favorites.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“My Broken Sky”
This song is very special to me in that it is about my struggles with anxiety and the overwhelming feelings when anxiety takes over. I have to tell myself, "I'll be just fine", despite not being able to focus or handle the way it makes me feel.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
A highlight was being able to record our new track, "That Trick of Silence". It seemed so effortless and we knew we had something as we were putting it down.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We have plenty left on our bucket list. We would love to play some large shows where the crowd knows our songs and sings along. It would also be great to be included on some major playlists along with successful alternative rock bands.
