In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Born in the rural city of Louveira in the State of São Paulo amidst grape vines, lush green plantations and blue skies, Luccas had a strong musical influence in his family from birth. His grandfather, known as “Seu Zico Martins” played the trombone.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Antônio Carlos Jobim, Urubu Miles Davis, Amandla Naná Vasconcelos, Minha Lôa Antônio Carlos Jobim, one of the greatest 20th-century musicians, crafted rich soundscapes, as in Urubu. Naná Vasconcelos’ Minha Lôa blends ancestrality and electronics. Miles Davis’ Amandla fuses '80s drum machines with African grooves brilliantly.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Headland (Nature Mix)” Headland was composed and the handpan recorded live on-site in Sydney during a special time in my life. Real underwater ocean sounds were captured, while bass clarinet and flute were brilliantly overdubbed in the studio, adding depth and immersion.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When my work focused on northeast Brazil, "Forró por aí...", which I produced, recorded, and arranged, was nominated for Prêmio da Música Brasileira. This marked a turning point, with the album on the 2019 World Music Chart and European radios.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to produce many albums, win at least one Grammy Award, and continue making music around the world
