The '90s may go down in the rock n' roll history books as the decade of alternative rock, but many would agree that adult-oriented roots rock came in a solid second place, with the success of such artists as the Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow, the Wallflowers, Wilco, and Shawn Mullins.
