Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For Nuno Silva, it was hearing Santana from his sister’s room in Lisbon. The sound felt almost otherworldly and sparked a lifelong passion for drums and percussion, setting him on the path that would grow into Silva Lining Band.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning Best Rock Performance at the 2025 International Portuguese Music Awards in the US was unforgettable. As an independent, family-led band, it proved our sound could travel and connect with people far beyond Lisbon and London.
