In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The founding members of Stella Ruze came together over the summer 2014, growing organically out of monthly jam sessions at a local dive bar in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Medeski, Martin & Wood, Shack-Man Phish, Billy Breathes The Lumineers, The Lumineers These three albums represent some of the main influences of our music. The Lumineers are perennial hitmakers grounded in folk music. Phish the ultimate jam experience. And MMW the masters of groove.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the XPoNential Music Festival along with a sold out Philly Music Fest showcase at MilkBoy opening for Son Little in 2021.
