Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 7 or 8, I had just bought my very first CD. Madonna “Celebration”. I spent most of my time singing along to the songs in my little room. When I closed my eyes I was performing for arenas.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Little Simz, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert Rihanna, ANTI (Deluxe) SZA, Ctrl I love how Little Simz is able to create a modern sounding Hiphop album with classical elements. She combines introspective lyrics with ego boosting tracks. She managed to find a sweet spot where vulnerability equals strength.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being the support of Gladys Knight in Royal theatre Carré, Amsterdam.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many things on my bucket list, I’m just getting started. But the core of it all is I hope with my music to reach outside the borders of my own country.
