In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
As a French-Malian kid, I grew up watching over and over "The battle of Mexico City" from Rage Against the Machine with my father.
On the other side, my mother introduced me to my uncle music, Toumani Diabate, who put me behind Drums when i was 5.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
GOJIRA, Magma
Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly
Nala Sinephro, Space 1.8
Those albums changed my life. They introduced me to what cathartic art is and how deeply it can heal you.
They acted as guidelines to better understand myself as an artist, black men, and simply as a humain being.
Radiohead had the same impact on me.

“Last Yawnings”
This one acted as a pivot in my songwriting process, in how I capture and express my feelings spontaneously while being able to add some perspective over time.
It was also the first time that my lyrics were that much in line with the music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
When some friends from the band Okali invited me to play my songs at a live session recorded in front of a crowd. It was a special moment, ment a lot for our friendships.
It's also being broadcast on the french public TV, so it ment a lot for me too.
