In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories were of my parent's record collection. It was mostly 60s pop and I distinctly remember playing and loving the vinyl album of A Hard Days Night by The Beatles.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brad Mehldau, Songs: The Art of the Trio, Vol. 3 Chick Corea Akoustic Band, Chick Corea Akoustic Band Joe Henderson, Double Rainbow: The Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim I'm a huge Jobim (and Herbie H) fan and on Double Rainbow you get both. My first Brad album after hearing him at the Cork Jazz Festival in the early 90s, now I'm a lifelong fan. Discovering Chick Corea playing with an acoustic trio blew my mind.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Ephemeral” Thinking about loss, the anniversary of my dad's death, the loss of a pet. The thought of losing others so close and imagining life in the future without one’s “nearest and dearest”. These feelings were in my subconscious when this tune was composed.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was extraordinary to launch Elements at a sold-out show at Pizza Express Jazz Club in London. The London Strings sounded so good, and it is always a joy to play with the trio.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play a two-piano duet with Brad Mehldau or Herbie Hancock!
