In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Hearing Alan Parsons "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" in 3rd grade. Performing classical music around the world. Discovering Bruce Springsteen when I heard "Rosalita." Discovering "The Police" and "U2" in college. Discovering Clint Black in 1989.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bruce Springsteen, The Essential Bruce Springsteen
Clint Black, Ultimate Clint Black
The Police, The Police: Greatest Hits
I would have also added others such as Earth Wind and Fire, and Steely Dan. Those along with a number of classical music albums (Tchaikovsky; Dvorak; Sibelius). Good Music is Good Music. And Great Music is Eternal.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Signed Sincerely We the People”
This marks a return for me to music after many years. And while this is a unique song for the times, I look forwarded to adding many additional songs in the coming weeks and months ranging from contemporary country, to rock, to smooth jazz.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
When I first performed my original music at a club as part of a television contest early on and a person came across the room after my set to tell me that with respect to one song in particular "That song . . . that's my life."
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Returning to my music after almost 15 years away from it, I'd like to get back to playing live and hopefully through one means or another have my songs reach the widest audience possible. I would also love to one day perform at The Ryman.
