The Flower Kings are a Swedish neo-prog rock band. Led by guitarist, vocalist, and composer Roine Stolt, their sonic trademark weds intricate melodic and lyric sensibilities, rock & roll dynamics, and classical and jazz flavors in shifting keys and time signatures. 1995's Back in the World of Adventures earned the band an immediate following that increased with 1996's Retropolis, 1997's Stardust We Are, and 1999's Flower Power. 2012's Banks of Eden preceded a long hiatus that ended with 2019's double-length Waiting for Miracles, followed by Islands a year later. 2022's By Royal Decree marked their third consecutive double album. They followed with their fourth in the 70-minute Look at You Now. Flower Kings toured the globe and returned in 2025 with the double-length Love.
