Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember listening to the Pat Metheny Group and being blown away by their creativity and sound. I was inspired by John Coltrane, David Sanborn, Al Jarreau, Jeff Beck and Miles Davis, but Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays really moved me emotionally.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Beck, Wired Pat Metheny Group, Still Life (Talking) Phil Keaggy, The Master and the Musician: 30th Anniversary Edition I've talked about Pat Metheny, so I'll focus on Jeff Beck and PHil Keaggy here. Beck is just amazing, in every way. He was truly groundbreaking. And Keaggy's guitar work and creativity got me interested in music at a very young age,
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “She's Gone” This one was inspired by Gary Moore, another huge inspiration for us. His "The Loner" is a masterpiece, as are many other songs from his catalogue. We took direct inspiration from that album for this song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Writing and recording this album. It was a long time coming, but we are all happy with the outcome.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course, we want to explore our creative musically. Maybe dip our toes into other genres. The sky is the limit.
