Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At the age of 11 I performed in my grade school recital with my father and brother. Our family band American Pie, played "Surfin' USA" by the Beach Boys.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kenny Chesney, Welcome to the Fishbowl Motion City Soundtrack, Commit This to Memory The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds Each album was a musical influence in my life. Not just the specific album, but their genres. Pet Sounds was my grade school years. Commit This to Memory was my high school/college years. And Welcome to the Fishbowl was when I found country music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “All I've Ever Known” This was the first song I wrote after moving to Nashville. In short, this song tells the story of my life as a musician. It's been one heck of a ride, and I wouldn't change it for anything!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely when "Rodeo Queen" a song I co-wrote on for KC Johns surpassed a million streams! She's an independent artist, like many of us are, and I'm so proud to have been a part of that achievement!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Honestly, I'm not much of a bucket list person. At the end of every day, I pray that I can say I succeeded in allowing myself to grow. Not only as a musician, but as a husband, a father and as a human being.
