Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 11, and I sat down at my brand new Yamaha keyboard, a PSR-11, and I started experimenting with musical ideas. All of sudden I had the beginnings of a new song. I didn't know how to write it down, so my Mom helped me. I can still play it!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dua Lipa, Future Nostalgia Deluxe Helsinki Chamber Choir, Nils Schweckendiek, Rautavaara: Vigilia R.E.M., Out of Time 2016 Remaster The balance between nostalgia and something brand new is a fine line to walk. I cut my musical teeth on R.E.M., and listening brings me back. Vigilia showed me how amazing choral music could be, and Dua Lipa's album is just so well written.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Cottage” This movement from my Frankenstein ballet captures the beauty and sadness of our protagonist. When I was writing this I wanted something that sounded folk-like, and also felt like what it's like to both want and not understand love.
