Frank Ocean, Blonde Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill All of these albums embody the type of artist I want to be. A super creative and vulnerable artist who is able to tell stories through their songs.

Growing up where I’m from can be very traumatic because there’s a lot of negativity and violence. The song talks about how that environment plays a role in the way you view the world and others.
