Chi è Upstate
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The music was initially just "what was around" as a kid, whether the Grateful Dead's 'American Beauty' or Dylan's 'Time Out of Mind.' A sense of wonder came out of the givenness of it all, the idea that it "came from elsewhere."
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Profeti Della Quinta, Quia Amore Langueo
The Felice Brothers, From Dreams to Dust
The Hillbilly Thomists, Living for the Other Side
The Felice Brothers' brilliant songwriting at once both serious and tender, full of levity and humor. Profeti Della Quinta features one of the most beautiful countertenor singers. Hillbilly Thomists, a bluegrass band of Dominican Friars.

“Lovers & Friends”
From our record 'You Only Get a Few,' the song holds a tender place in our hearts. It's like a trailhead of memory for the sort of sweet fruit that can come from bitter times.
