Chi è War Jacket
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Our band began in 2007. We have had our music played on the radio, TV shows, and in movie theaters, but our favorite moments have been when people have approached us to tell us what these songs mean to them.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Duquette Johnston, Rabbit Runs a Destiny
My Brightest Diamond, All Things Will Unwind
Sanders Bohlke, Ghost Boy
Some of our favorite artists are our friends. Sanders and Duquette have been there from the beginning. Shara of My Brightest Diamond is Caleb's biggest vocal inspiration.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“It's All Behind Me”
The song is about moving on but being haunted by the past. It features Sanders Bohlke on BGVs and has one of our favorite guitar licks by Joel Madison Blount.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Our favorite moments have been after concerts or in grocery stores when people have approached us to tell us what our songs mean to them. Opening for Kishi Bashi & Josh Garrels was wonderful as well.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
War Jacket is currently on hiatus, but our bucket list would be to get back in the studio and begin playing locally again.
