A teen star in her native Korea, pianist Yoonie Han capitalized on that and has achieved a high-level career as a performer. Han made her concert debut with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at age 13. Han attended the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, went on for a master's at Juilliard, and completed a doctorate at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. By that time, Han had already established a strong concert career. She made her debut at New York's Alice Tully Hall in 2010 and took the stage with the Berlin Philharmonic a year later. Han was signed to the Steinway & Sons label in 2012 and two years later released her label debut, Love & Longing. ~ James Manheim
