Just like that other famous CCR, turn-of-the-millennium roots unit Cross Canadian Ragweed have a style that's hard to pin down. Is it Americana? Alt-country? Straight-up rock 'n' roll? The answer, of course, is "all of the above." Cross Canadian Ragweed are simply four friends making raw, rootsy, all-American music, whether they're rocking with a Western twang on the gritty, grinding "Fightin' For," or channeling the weepy, wide-open sounds of the plains on the slow-rolling "Sick and Tired."
