CHUNG HA first made her presence felt in 2016 as a member of K-pop girl group I.O.I, formed out of Korean reality talent show Produce 101. But she truly came into her own after the group’s split the following year, making a bold statement with her solo debut EP Hands on Me. Subsequent chart-smashing tunes like “Roller Coaster”, “Gotta Go” and “Snapping” demonstrate the versatility of the multitalented artist’s voice over throbbing dance-pop beats. And her duet with Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, for 88rising’s Head in the Clouds II compilation, is proof of her growing international appeal.
