Formed in the ‘80s, the Argentine rock band's primary claim to fame was their avowed devotion to The Rolling Stones' sound and its rebel flavour. Success came with their 1989 album Furtivos, and with the hit single “Rock Del Gato”, Los Ratones finally became recognised as a major player on the Latin rock scene. Collaborating with the Stones' former producer Andrew Oldham, they released Fieras Lunaticas in 1991, topping the charts with the smash hit “Rock del Pedazo”. Opening for the Stones and Guns N' Roses in Buenos Aires cemented their place as a top band to watch.
