After helping to usher Colombia's pop-reggaetón takeover of the 2010s, Farina has remained an urbano powerhouse with innovative genre crossovers. Born in Medellín in 1986, Farina achieved her first taste of fame at 18 on the national X-Factor franchise before releasing her debut album, Yo Soy Farina, a year later. Farina has since grown into an adventurous radio fixture, dipping into dancehall with Sean Paul on “EL VIBE,” dembow with El Alfa on “Bendecido,” and linking up with perreo artists NATTI NATASHA and Cazzu for “Las Nenas.”
